We use this data to provide and improve our Service, analyze how users interact with the Service, measure advertising performance, personalize content, prevent fraud, and support marketing activities.

For product improvement, analytics, advertising, hosting, and service operation, we may use third-party solutions provided by companies such as Amazon, Meta, Google, Firebase, Amplitude, Hotjar, Snapchat, TikTok, Twitter/X, Pinterest, and other service providers. As a result, some data may be stored and processed on servers operated by these third parties.

INTRODUCTION

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data is collected when you use the ARtie Lab: AR Drawing Android mobile application, as well as any related services and products provided through it collectively referred to as the “Service”, and how such personal data is processed.

By using the Service, you confirm that:

  1. you have read, understood, and agreed to this Privacy Policy; or

  2. if you are a child, your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to this Privacy Policy on your behalf, where required by applicable law.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you must not use the Service. In such case, you should:

  1. stop using the Service;

  2. cancel any active subscription through Google Play, if applicable; and

  3. delete the App from your device.

“GDPR” means the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

“EEA” includes all current member states of the European Union and the European Free Trade Association. For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, EEA also includes the United Kingdom.

“Process” or “processing” of personal data includes collecting, storing, using, sharing, disclosing, or otherwise handling personal data.

1. PERSONAL DATA CONTROLLER

Tenet Apps FZCO, a company registered under the laws of the United Arab Emirates, having its registered office at 48891-001, IFZA Properties, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is the controller of your personal data.

2. CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT

We collect data that you provide voluntarily, data that is collected automatically, and data that is generated when you use certain features of the Service.

2.1 Data you provide voluntarily

We do not require you to provide personal information directly in order to use the basic features of the App. However, you may choose to provide certain information, such as your email address, when you contact our support team or communicate with us.

2.2 Photos, images, drawings, sketches, and user-generated content

When you use features that allow you to upload, capture, import, edit, generate, transform, trace, or process images, we may process the photos, drawings, sketches, or other visual content that you choose to provide.

This may include images selected from your device gallery, images captured using your device camera, generated results, edited images, or other content created through the App.

We use this data only to provide the requested functionality, such as displaying, processing, transforming, saving, generating, or syncing your content.

Depending on the feature, this content may be transmitted to our servers or to third-party service providers when necessary to provide the requested functionality.

2.3 Camera and gallery access

The App may request access to your camera or photo gallery to allow you to use features such as AR drawing, tracing, importing photos, creating sketches, or generating visual results.

We access your camera or gallery only when you choose to use features that require such access. You can manage camera and photo permissions through your Android device settings.

2.4 Data collected automatically

When you use the Service, we may automatically collect certain technical and usage data.

This may include:

  • language settings;

  • IP address;

  • time zone;

  • device type and model;

  • device settings;

  • operating system and version;

  • Internet service provider;

  • mobile carrier;

  • hardware ID;

  • Google Advertising ID / Android Advertising ID;

  • app version;

  • session duration;

  • features used;

  • taps, clicks, and interactions within the App;

  • crash data and diagnostic information;

  • purchase status and subscription-related events.

2.5 Data about how you found us

We may collect information about the source through which you found or installed the App, such as advertising campaign information, referral source, install attribution, and related marketing data.

2.6 Usage data

We may record how you interact with the Service, including features used, content interacted with, frequency of use, session duration, screens viewed, buttons tapped, and purchase or subscription events.

2.7 Advertising identifiers

We may collect your Google Advertising ID / Android Advertising ID to measure advertising performance, personalize ads, analyze campaigns, prevent fraud, and improve our marketing.

You can reset or manage your advertising identifier through your Android device settings.

2.8 Tracking technologies and SDKs

We may use SDKs, analytics tools, advertising tools, crash reporting tools, and similar technologies to understand how users interact with the App, improve the Service, support advertising delivery, measure campaign performance, and detect technical issues.

3. FOR WHAT PURPOSES WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We process your personal data for the purposes described below.

3.1 To provide our Service

We process personal data to enable you to use the Service, access App features, create and process content, use AR drawing and tracing functionality, save or view results, and prevent or address technical issues.

To host personal data and operate the Service, we may use Amazon Web Services or other cloud infrastructure providers.

3.2 To process images and user-generated content

We may process photos, drawings, sketches, generated images, and other user-generated content to provide the features requested by you.

This may include:

  • importing images from your device;

  • capturing images through the camera;

  • transforming photos into sketches or drawing references;

  • generating, editing, displaying, or saving visual results;

  • enabling AR drawing or tracing functionality;

  • syncing or storing results where applicable.

We do not use your uploaded images or generated content for purposes unrelated to providing, maintaining, improving, or securing the Service, unless otherwise permitted by law or with your consent.

3.3 To customize your experience

We may process device data, usage patterns, and interaction data to personalize the Service, improve recommendations, adjust content, remember preferences, and provide a better user experience.

3.4 To provide customer support

We may process your personal data to respond to your support requests, technical questions, bug reports, refund-related inquiries, or other communications you send to us.

For this purpose, we may process your email address, message content, device information, app version, subscription status, and other details needed to resolve your request.

3.5 To communicate with you regarding your use of the Service

We may communicate with you through push notifications, in-app messages, or email.

These communications may include reminders, feature updates, service notices, subscription-related information, changes to legal documents, or other information related to the Service.

You can disable push notifications through your Android device settings.

3.6 To research and analyze use of the Service

We may process usage data, technical data, and interaction data to understand how users use the Service, improve existing features, develop new features, test offers, detect bugs, analyze performance, and improve the overall quality of the App.

For analytics and performance measurement, we may use services such as Firebase Analytics, Amplitude, Meta technologies, Google tools, Hotjar, and similar providers.

3.7 To send marketing communications

We may use personal data to send marketing communications, show promotional messages, send push notifications, or inform you about features, offers, or products that may be relevant to you.

You can opt out of push notifications through your device settings. If we send marketing emails, you may unsubscribe by following the instructions included in the email.

3.8 To personalize and measure advertising

We and our advertising partners may process personal data to measure ad performance, personalize ads, build audiences, show relevant ads, and understand the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns.

For example, if you have installed or used the App, you may see ads for our products or related services on platforms such as Google, Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, Twitter/X, or other advertising networks.

We may use tools such as:

  • Google Ads;

  • Firebase;

  • Meta SDK and Meta Ads Manager;

  • TikTok Ads;

  • Snapchat Advertising Platform;

  • Pinterest Ads;

  • Twitter/X Ads;

  • other advertising and attribution tools.

You can manage or limit personalized advertising on Android by going to your device settings and adjusting your Ads settings. You may also reset your advertising ID.

3.9 To process payments and subscriptions

The App may offer paid products, subscriptions, free trials, or in-app purchases.

For Android users, payments and subscriptions are processed through Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store your full payment card details. Payment information is processed by Google according to Google’s own terms and privacy policy.

We may receive limited information about your purchase or subscription status, such as whether a subscription is active, expired, canceled, renewed, or refunded, in order to provide paid features and manage access to premium content.

To manage or cancel your Android subscription, you should use Google Play subscription settings.

3.10 To enforce our Terms and prevent fraud

We may process personal data to enforce our Terms of Use, protect our rights, detect, prevent, and combat fraud, investigate suspicious activity, prevent abuse of the Service, and protect the security of our users and systems.

Where necessary, we may share information with law enforcement agencies, regulators, or other authorized parties.

3.11 To comply with legal obligations

We may process, use, store, or disclose your data when required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, court order, or lawful request from public authorities.

4. LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA FOR EEA AND UK USERS

We process your personal data when it is necessary to provide the Service to you, including to:

  • provide App functionality;

  • process images or user-generated content;

User-generated content, such as uploaded images, imported photos, drawings, sketches, generated results, or edited images, may be stored for as long as necessary to provide the requested functionality, maintain access to your content, operate the Service, or until you request deletion, where applicable.

We may retain certain technical, analytics, purchase, or legal records for longer periods where necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or accounting purposes.

10. HOW “DO NOT TRACK” REQUESTS ARE HANDLED

The Service does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” signals.

Some third-party services may provide their own tools to manage tracking, analytics, or advertising preferences. Please review the privacy policies and settings of those third-party services for more information.

11. PRIVACY RIGHTS FOR VIRGINIA RESIDENTS

If you are a Virginia resident, you may have certain rights under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act.
